The Lacuna Expanse is a region of space with lots of differed habitable worlds. You can play with or compete against thousands of players as you build your empire, fight off spies in a battle, form alliances, search the expanse for lost ancient artifacts, and more.

In this game there are 22 types of Food and 20 types of Ore, and we also have Water and Energy as main resources. Most buildings have both a a cost to buid and a cost to maintain.

mine some of the 26 asteroid-types, own some of the 40 different planets, and get to know the 5 Gas-giant's.

this game is written in perl and scripts are allowed in this game, there are several public scripts, but you can also write your own one with the API.
