I enjoy it immensely

Terrific game (thankfully the issues that Dugustus and Ailee were annoyed at have been cleaned up).

Renaissance Kingdoms is a constantly evolving game, the admins continue to add new features, so the game never gets old. I have played the game for over a year, and have been impressed by how differently you can choose to play your character (trader, priest, robber, doctor, statesman, etc.).

I would truly recommend this game to everyone.

Jorike et all, There were some major problems back when Ailie and Dug pusted those comments, It is much better now and both are back as relations of their old characters.
I love the game and have been steadily getting more involved. The people in Winchester in parlicular are great. Come see us in the Duke sometime and I'll buy you a drink.:D
Anyone who joins is encouraged to get active on the forums as soon as posible. That's what really hold the game together.

You will find whatever you want in this game: politics, economics, strategy, history… Everything is possible since it is based on role play and interaction between players. And it is a really good way to meet people. Definitely my favourite online game!

I don't know why people are posting all these negative messages... maybe they were just in the wrong county. This game has lots of depth to it, half the game is played in the forums, so if you don't want to look at forums it might not be for you. Yes people cheat, but don't people cheat in real life? People who cheat are put in jail (in-game feature). The game is for people who like to work with other people to better your town/county. I would suggest this for anyone looking for something beyond clicking your mouse button over and over.

Having played this game for over 10 months I found myself constantly giving the administration of the game 'second chances' to improve the situation. This game is rife with corruption (players cheating) the worst perpitrators being the administration themselves and the group that they actively support. Additionally the game is ethnically biased giving diferent set of rules if you play in France (or are a french player) or if you play anywhere else (or from anywhere else). The french side of the game is well managed and supported, the english side however is poorly administrated and one is left with the impression that they only set up England to be prey for the French.
Finally I have never seen the ammount of personal (outside of game) insults and abuse present in any other game. This is supported and in part perpitrated by the administration of the game. Any one with any real world experience at management or history is quickly run out of the game to protect those that are corrupting it. This is not a game for anyone hopeing to play in a fair, unbiased environment, free from hostile, personal attacks.

The game sounded great, but the servers are so slow with up to 6 minutes or longer lag times and up to 45 minute shut downs per day for the game site. Forums for England are run by people who know nothing about RP there and create really hateful and nasty community. French Forums are better for RP but all in French of course. Doesn't live up to the advertising. I played for longer than I should have, expecting things to get better. Admins didn't respond.

I played this game for two months. It is supposed to be an RP game of community, management, economics and history. But it is not. The RP part of it is controlled by moderators with low IQ who know nothing about community, management, economics and history. They suppress every attempt of the new players to be imaginative, active or competent. They create a negative environment of flaming, insults and biased control over the forums. This game is not for intellectual players.
