Overall very good game.
Even though its only 2D, i find it very enjoyable and the community is small and great.
Very friendly people who try thier best to help you every step of the way.
I would recommend this game to anyone from a ten year old to a hundred year old.
Cheers

A somewhat dark-horse in terms of the online game arena, 2D Space strategy games provides users with a single account and the option to play a variety of games without having to get another account. Cheating is a rare occurrence, bots non-existent and the game is child friendly.

Appearance: 8/10

The Graphics are a bit rustic, but that I feel is all apart of the charm. Though I do hear 2D Space Games has a new developer who is currently working on upgrading the base code and graphics.

Community: 10/10

2D Space Games has a small community in comparison to games like Battle Dawn, but you can be assured that a good 80% are veteran's who have been playing for a very long time and their only interest is to have fun.

Very Newb Friendly.

System: 9/10

The game does have bugs (any game does), which is probably due to the old code. An active support ticket system is available and it is usually fixed within the week. It is a browser based game, so your enjoyment of the game is going to depend on your internet connection and how old your hardware is, especially when your attacking and you don't know whether a Battleship could jump out of nowhere and start blasting you.

The game unfortunately doesn't have a tutorial. The Community does have a player-made tutorial (The link available at any populated planet), which is very good and will provide you with the necessary information to get started.

Overall I give 2D Space Games a 9/10.

My Advice to you as a newcomer to the game is to give it a grace period of 3 days. By that time you'll have offers from many alliances (Newbies are fought over heavily) and you will be able to choose which one suits your playing style.

I have played the game on-and-off for a few years. I keep coming back to it, and still find it filled with fun people, although not as many as there used to be. The developer is continually reviewing and updating the game.
